What is a Florence Walk & Talk?

This is not a tourist guide service, and there is no set tour itinerary.

Instead, Florence After Dark is a private, two-hour conversational stroll through the historic center. It’s designed specifically for solo travelers who want to skip the commercial crowds and connect with a real resident.

It is just you and me, walking the quieter nighttime streets, grabbing a coffee or a drink if you like, and seeing where the conversation takes us.

The idea actually comes from my own travels.

I’ve traveled with my family, and there have been plenty of times when I would have loved to just go for a night walk through a new city — London, Paris, wherever — but I had my wife and kids with me. I couldn’t exactly disappear for two hours.

And even if I could, I wouldn’t have known where to go, what was worth seeing at night, or who I could simply have a good conversation with.

So I thought: why not create exactly that for someone traveling alone?

No History Lectures: I am not a licensed tourist guide, and this is not a traditional historical tour. I won’t be giving you rehearsed explanations of monuments, architecture, or Florence’s history. If you want a traditional historical tour, Florence has exceptional licensed professionals whom I can recommend.
No Practical Logistics: I am your conversational walking companion for two hours—not a personal concierge, airport driver, or travel agent.

The €60 flat fee covers my dedicated time for two hours and the private Walk & Talk experience. It does not include food, drinks, or transport.

Do I need to be learning English?
No. If English is not your first language, we can use the evening as relaxed, real-world English practice. If you already speak English fluently, we simply have a conversation. There’s no lesson and no homework.
